A convenience store stole my winning lottery ticket who at OLG do you pass the compliant to?

I know I should have maybe called the police, but at the time I was in a rush for something very important and this was before sign your ticket was common knowledge and the clerk told me the bells going off was an errors and refused to give back the ticket. which comes off now like I was part of a con. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

  1. Well you should have called the police right there, since you had your ticket stolen from you.  It's a little late now.  And the ticket is only yours once you sign it.

    If someone steals your winning ticket, you call the police right there and have them arrested for theft.

    I would definitely file a complaint with the lottery commission where you are at and see if you can get something done.

It is a little late now as suggested, a good idea might be to try and find proof of the time and date of the purchase of the ticket, perhaps the organisation that runs the lottery can access that information.  Then point out that it coincideds with when the employee in question was working,  employees buying lottery tickets from the store they are workign in, while they are working in it, might indicate such a scam.
