Hi, what's a great dance place in Paris where it's not too young?

  1. There's La Coupole in Montparnasse. Unfortunately (from my point of view) the Dance hall there where Josephine Baker and Simone de Beauvoir used to go to dance the tango has now been given over to trendy modern music. However, if that is to your liking it might be the place. Here is their website: http://www.flobrasseries.com/coupolepari...

Then there's the legendary Slow club at 130 rue de Rivoli in the 1st arrondissement on the Right Bank which still serves up Jazz, dixieland, and real Rock.

Le Caveau de la Huchette at 5, rue de la Huchette in the 5th is another classic with jitterbug, swing and jive and a wide range of ages.
