A Courier, TNT delivered a good that had been clearly damaged during the transport. This was a sterilizer imported from China (value $2000 + VAT + transport). Even the wood case was damaged. TNT claims that the damage did occur between Milan and the delivery point, while the insurance was covering the product only between China and Milan. Can I legally claim against them as the mishandling was so obvious and it seems quite unfair that the insurance should not cover in this case.

  1. legally you might not have a leg to stand on BUT speak to a solicitor about  taking them to small claims court

it does sound convenient that the damage happened when the insurance didn't cover it

    good luck :)
