  1. I would disagree that a critical thinker has developed a knowledgeable understanding of our world because someone can be a critical thinker, but not knowledgeable in a certain aspect of the world.

Critical thinking is the process of evaluation, analysis, observation, looking at probability and reflecting on that specific circumstance. The act of a critical thinker is to try to come to a solid conclusion (thus making a judgment) upon a certain "thing" (which includes everything such as material, internal, actions, etc), while using their accumulated knowledge that they have at that particular time.

You can say a critical thinker would need to be knowledgeable in what he/she is trying to judge upon, but it would be false to say that person has a knowledge understanding of our complex world, because "world" would consist of all that is in the world.

  2. AH if you were a critical thinker you would have reworded the question so it wouldn’t come across pretentious. Not that there is nothing wrong with that. But you get back less positive feed back

  3. Sounds like bullschitt to me.

  4. A critical thinker is gathering knowledge, questions, listens, studying to comprehend and discover a broader  understanding of our complex world.

  5. obnoxious know-it-all

  6. true, but that doesn't include sarcasism.

  7. Eh, I suppose. I think more that a critical thinker can also be someone who has a hunger for understanding, and questions often.

  8. h

  9. false, it;'s someone who can approach a problem objectively and logically.  They could be quite ignorant of the world.

  10. Maybe, but the critical thinker has a good amount of skepticism imbued about his ideas and thoughts and also about most everything.  Hearsay and gossip do not interest the critical thinker.  The critical thinker is concerned about ideas and truth.
