away from point A. At some initial time, the cyclist is 252 m from point A.

What will be his displacement from his starting position after 61 s? answer in units of m

what will be his position from point A after that time? Answer in units of m

I appreciate ANY and ALL help anyone can give me- I'm not looking for the answers, I more or less just need to know how to work it out.

  1. Badly worded.

    My first interpretation is:

The velocity or time has nothing to do with it. You state "the cyclist is 252 m from point A", so his displacement is 252 m

But if I ignore that statement and use the velocity and time numbers, then the displacement is 6.7 m/s x 61 s = 409 m

    take your pick.
