  2. Ethnocentrism. Not to say that we aren't damaged by it in this day and age, but xenophobia seems to be a natural, leftover human instinct. Like anger and fear of the dark.

  4. If you are referring to the United States, I think it is in the transition of damaged culture and Ethnocentrism.

    When brainwashing someone, you first destroy what they believe, then you build them back up in your image.  Is this nation being brainwashed?  Probably.  the "Leave it to Beaver" days are gone.  With society turned on it's head, the next stage is coming.  The stage of "America is right!  s***w everyone else".  Call it extreme patriotism if you will, or willing ignorance of historical fact.  In either case, it is Ethno Centrism we are building up to.
