A day to come is longer than a year that's passed..can u explain this to me pls?

It shows human nature. The time past seems short however hard or long it had been. Shades of upcoming Chanllenges  r always longer. Wht u ve done z never enough, its fastly n easily passed. The day to come has more in pocket to discover n so is longer.

To me it seems like its saying when you're waiting for something it seems like it takes forever for it to happen. Sometimes if feels like time flys and when you look back on a year it seems like it went by really fast, but something that you are waiting for takes a long time to come.
