A day without kids... what will I do with myself?

It's my son's 1st day in kindergarten so I'm really nervous for him... and miss him already!

I know the feeling, although it was 12 years ago but it feels like yesterday.  You cant help but think back to when he was born and wonder where all the time went.  My son will be graduating next year and I cant believe it!  Take this time to relax; to give yourself something.  Get your nails done, read a magazine, take a nap, bake some cookies, enjoy some sunshine (if you have any), take a walk.  Enjoy this time alone and you will be better for it when he comes home from school.

All of us moms go through that.  Do something for yourself, even if it's just window shopping.  You work hard as a mom, and now you actually get some time to reward yourself!

haha. that sucks. as long as you're confident you raised him to be a normal kid, than i'm sure he'll be fine.

most little kids make friends right off the bat anyway.

Sit back,relax and spoil yourself.Thats what i did on my kids first day.(i had to do something to get my mind off them)

You're nervous, what about him? He will do fine, and make new friends his first day, Take this time to relax, do some errands, make some coffee, read the paper, anything that comes to mind. When he gets home ask about his day and I'm sure he will entertain you the rest of the day. I cried when each of my girls went to school their first day. It's an adjustment for both of you believe me.
