A deployed soldier needs a waiver for both bncoc and ancoc, wants to be promoted to msg is this possible?

she was in the air force and transferred into the army // she was denied a waiver because she says her time and rank in the air force equals the army bncoc, but provides no proof, and she also wants a waiver for ancoc / what regs cover this and is this possible

  1. May want to review AR 350-1, which covers Army Training and Leadership Development.

    One issue that she may be failing to understand is the fact that SHE says her time and rank in the air force equals BNCOC doesn't mean a great deal without the documentation.  

    She changed branches as an E7?


  2. Time in rank does not matter. Instruction states she still has to attend bncoc and ancoc. Only ncoa waivers are for wlc if you have attended the US Marine equivalent or due to being a prior officer etc. No it's not possible and will not happen.
