Like you'de get flashing lights in your eye like one day then it would happen again like 3 weeks later?

  1. well i have flashes in my eyes. And it comes and goes.I guess it could be the detaching of the retina.

  2. You would have them constantly, and usually increasingly worse. The flashing (usually somewhere in peripheral vision) and an increase in floaters start pretty suddenly (within a day or so) when the retina begins to pull away, and is usually followed by a sensation of a curtain being pulled over your eye when it actually detaches completely (you would hardly be able to see at all). Sometimes it can take around a week or even more for that to happen, depending on where it is detaching from (if its the bottom part, gravity will hold it on for longer), but you would definitely know something was wrong, and it wouldn't be intermittent. So dont worry too much. They are relatively rare :) You could be having ocular migraines or something though. You should probably have an eye exam just in case.

  3. i think that it have a constant symptoms because any symptom related to retina detached mean damage in retina cells (Rods or cons) or damage in (blood vessels or nerve) and any damage in major on these element cannot fix by medication but surgeries

about flashing may the detachment happen in cell around (macula) in the terminal of retina and the degree of damage is little
