A dilemma: Prom transportation?

Question

My group of friends all originally decided a few months before that we would rent a party bus for prom due to the big number of people we had joining us. Now a month before the person in charge of the transportation wants to get a hummer limo because it is less expensive. Even though the hummer limo is cheaper it will cramped for 40 people. Party bus, even though more expensive, is roomier, has more upgrades, but costs about 20 more. What should we do?

Its our senior year. People are pretty much equally spilt down the middle on deciding what they prefer to take.

I would take the limo: It will only be a short ride, and what's wrong with being cramped if you are about to have the time of your lives! If everyone is wearing deoderant, then you guys will be that much more comfortable. Or, you could take something else. I am going to take a fire truck to my prom. Good luck, and have fun! ^^

Look at it this way, with a bus, you can walk on & off; in a hummer or coventional limo, anybody not next to a door is on their hands and knees to get out...On a hummer with 40 souls on board, you better hope that everybody bathed...For an extra $20, the bus is well worth it.

I know I'm supposed to be answering your question here- but ask yourself these 2 questions to get your own answer.  Do you really have to go in the same vehicle with that many people?  And- How much money have you already spent on a ride to the prom- let alone everything else?--i was hoping a different perspective would help you.
