  1. you have to be near the coast and in a place where they have it .

the installation is very expensive ,

and a bad storm can break the chains

but you will be more corrosive than the set up

it is heavy duty and lasts a long time

so A is the only one i see that can apply

  2. A

  3. A. - equipment maintenance and corrosion

But I don't think considering the limitations of tidal energy is a simple multiple choice answer. Other limitations include:

    - Tidal energy could only be harnessed in places with significant water level changes. The conversion of the potential energy that the tides will hold shows figures that are more or less 80%. This means that 20% of total potential energy is usually lost and only 80% of potential energy is typically utilized for electricity generation

    - Another major limitation of tidal power is that the electricity is usually generated in remote coastal areas.

    - And obviously must be located near the coast.

    - Tidal power is an costly to initially install

    * I'm sure the advantages such a renewable, clean, cheap (long term), reliable are all important factors that make tidal energy an appealing alternative.

  4. A. and also tidal energy is inconsistant because you cant control how the water moves

  5. A, unless you use the right materials.
