A down payment on a used car.?

My credit score is 547.

The car is a 2004 Maxima for about 14,000 grand.

How much, with a cosigner would I most likely need down?

With a strong cosigner you may need less that 15%.  However, you will probably get relatively high rates on financing, since the car is used.

I personaly would put at the minimum $3000 down on a 14k car, and more is better.

10-15% of the asking price.  However negotiate on the selling price, its a buyers market now, since the economy is in the tank.
