A dream about a baby? What could it mean?

I had a dream last night about me being pregnant, though it was a tubal pregnancy and it actually hurt in the same side that I was holding when I woke up. I've been having a lot of pain there today, and I do feel a knot there. Could I really be having a tubal pregnancy??

I'm not pregnant or atleast I'm not aware of it if I am. Though we have been trying to conceive. I am bleeding, but it's not a whole terrible lot. Though my period ended two weeks ago.

it just probably means you want a baby real bad and thats all you think about ...most of the time when i dream something ..when i wake up i notice its something that was in the back of my head...i hear that as soon as you let the cramping feeling of wanting to have a baby and loosen up ..its easier to conceive

I've had dreams where I was pregnant and I'm only 15- I don't think it means much. And I'm totally the person who is least likley to ever get pregnant at my age.

I don't think it means much other than its something you really want, but good luck on having a child. :)

Trying to conceive and not succeeding immediately is a very stressful situation.  Dreams are a way of our brain running us through exercises - much like going to the gym, but for the brain.  You are dreaming of being pregnant because much of your conscious thoughts are about becoming pregnant.  That part is easy enough.

If your period ended two weeks ago, the spotting you are going through right now is very likely ovulation spotting, and many women experience pain when they ovulate from time to time.  

I think your dream was just your mind practicing in case something ever happens like that, so you can stay strong in that situation.  The ovulation pain got worked into the dream, the same way an alarm clock can sometimes become an ambulance siren in a dream.

I would say you are not pregnant, this was not a dream telling the future, you were ovulating this morning (hope you got busy yesterday!!!) and that is all there is to it.

First you need to talk to your doctor. It is possible that you are having conception issues (tubal pregnancy). It's very important to catch this early so they can fix it. Doesn't matter how much you're bleeding it is still important to get it fixed. And I think your dream shows that you're scared about having a baby but at the same time you really want one. It could possibly even be your body telling you that you are pregnant but something is wrong with the pregnancy (hence why it is so important for you to go to a doctor asap).
