A dream about a loved one passed away?

Recently I dreamt about a loved one of mine who had passed away, our family cat, Alley. In the dream, I was glad to see her, and told her that I missed her. Later that same day when I had already been awake, I told my mom about the dream. She said she had recently asked my dad about getting a kitten, but he had said no. I guess the real question I'm trying to ask is - is this a sign from beyond the grave? Is Alley trying to get me to take in another cat? The timing is all too perfect, and I believe it's a sign that Alley thinks I should get a kitten. What do you think?

I think as much as you want a new kitty you still miss ally. Give yourself a few months and then maybe consider getting a new cat. Make sure you are ready to do this though!

Its really hard to deal with the death of your kitty, I think what your dream was giving you was some comfort, and a chance to see your kitty again, I believe it was letting you know she is ok, and she wants you to be ok to.. I think your kitty would want you to do what makes you happy, and if getting another kitten would make you happy then, go for it.

we have 8 cats already, and theyre really anoying want some? by the way 5 of them are pure black and 3 of which has really short tails.. ill give all of them to you if you want

It's your subconscious telling you it's ok to move on now, or you can look at it like Alley is telling you she's ok with you being happy.
