A dream about murder?

Hi all. I recently had a dream that I actually had to wake up from. When I woke up my heart was beating super fast and I was too scared to get out of bed. Anyway, in the dream, Michael Myers (yes, the masked babysitter killer), was running around hacking everyone to bits in his fashion. Only, I could see into the room where the others were hiding and I couldn't help them! I tried to warn them but it was no use and one by one, he found their hiding places and stabbed them to death. What scared me the most was that he killed some guy who was hiding in a crawl space in the closet. Any ideas as to what this could mean?

well, you must have seen a horror or murder movie before.

that's what you (or your subconscious brain) wish might happen..

don't watch that kind of movies anymore..

The theme of the dream is that you know what could help, but you aren't in a position to follow through...

Have you felt helpless, knowing that the outcome of a situation wasn't going to be good, but you were at a loss to fix things? I would guess that you recognize someone is avoiding a situation that you know they should be addressing.

Probably just a dream from a thriller movie..... hope there's nothing to it
