A dream about my Biological Father?

first off let me say that I am adopted. I've never known my biological parents, but last night I had a dream that I got to talk to my biological father. He told me loved me and was proud of me, and that he had always had a feeling that he had a child that he never met.

He told me we shared a favorite flower, which are lilies.

he mentioned that he couldn't mention me to his family and that baffled me. towards the end of my dream he said if I ever needed confidence to look into lilies and I asked why and he told me that he is in them and I did not understand......It was only towards the end of the dream that he told me he was no longer alive and wanted to speak to me before he left.

What could this mean?

I really get the feeling that this was not just  a dream, but was in fact your father saying good bye and hello to you.

If I were you I'd find the names of your birth parents. Then write this as your next Y!A question, "Does anyone know (moms full name and dads name)?" Then write the details including the dream in the info field.

Very interesting sister. I do believe he came to visit you. (spirit to spirit) I too enjoy visits quite frequently. What do you think it means?

this dream sounds almost like a movie. im amazed by how descriptive and perfect its layed out. i usually dont see dreams like this.

if we interpret this literally, i would say this. flowers represent happiness and growth of new ideas. your biological father could just be representing someone you will listen to, so that the message will get across. your father wants you to embrace these new ideas, and if you ever have trouble overcoming them, just remember that you can. but this is a pretty direct interpretation

if you look into it more vividly, this might be a direct message from your father. i think he might want you to find him, and i think your running out of time. he gave you a clue though: lilies. u need to think hard and see how these lilies could pertain to his or your life in anyway.

i would go with the second interpretation and find your father. combine the interpretations too, and that will give you the confidence to keep searching. good luck and dont give up
