Question:

A dream about my grandmother?

I have been thinking about this lately....and it's kind of odd.

A few years ago my grandma died. Shortly after I had this dream that I was at a party with my family at my aunts house. I saw my grandma there and I hugged her and said, "but grandma, I thought you died?"

She replied, very calmly, "I came back to life." Or something along those lines. Then I was just like alright and I ran away to go play or something.

This is the only dream I remember having about her after she died and I was with her in my dream for such a short period of time. Why do you think that is?

  1. Even easier that last question.

The part where you hug her means that even the if shes dead you will still love her. But the running away to play part means that even if you love her now that it might fade away due to todays modern life. So even if she really came back to life this might really affect the way you live currently.

    Hope this helps.

  2. God. I am a Roman Catholic, and believe that God is always there.

God Bless you and your grandma and may He watch over the both of you.

  3. When we miss someone terribly, we sometimes dream of them after their death, and sometimes, the dreams are wonderful, not Cecil B. DeMille, just an ordinary scenario like the one you described, a nice family gathering and the deceased person is there, to greet you or just chat with you, as they would anytime and our 'dreamselves' accept that these people are there without question. When we wake, we feel happier and comforted because we go to see the person we missed. It's a lovely gift to have dreams like that...just go with it. Sometimes God knows what we need.
