A drink was accidentally poured

Question

a drink was accidentally poured on the floor this afternoon and lo and behold my phone was by it.there were signs of the drink entering the screen.as i tried sucking out the drink from parts of the phone in order to make it dry,the lights on the screen started blinking and later turned off up till now
