A family friendly hotel in san diego ca??

Hotel Circle, which is near beaches and shopping and restaurants has a nice Motel 6 for 64.99-74.99/ night. there is also a Super 8 in the same price range. Ocean Beach, not far from hotel circle, has some inexpensive hotels, but look up the names in a motel book.

A bit nicer ($149) is the Towne and Country on Hotel Circle. It has 2 pools and restaurants on site.

Try the  2 room KOA camping CAbins approx 85-100 a night. They are very nice and fun for the kids. just bring a sheet and light blanket -

pool -  jacuzzi - bike rentals - tours leave from there too!

If you are looking for an inexpensive hotel, there are a number of "budget hotels" located in San Diego.  One of my favorites is Kings Inn which is centrally located in the area called Hotel Circle.  It's not far from there to the beaches, Sea World, or the zoo.
