Absolutely amazing place, very family friendly, and very near Picadilly Circus. A bit out of the way from the Apollo, victoria, but easy to get from one to the other.

Highly recommended would be Noodle, Noodle (Thai) on Vauxhall Bridge Rd and Buckhingham Palace Rd. There are a few restaurants in the new Cardinal Place shopping centre- Bar ha ha, La Tasca etc. There is also a Pizza Express and an Ask further down the street from the Apollo.

A wonderful, friendly restaurant that serves splendid food in a pleasant setting. The staff are friendly and efficient, and Mauro the owner is usually roaming around chatting up the tables. The classic Italian meals here are simple cooking elevated to unusual heights; each dish is a perfectly balanced blend of the best flavours. Most of the dishes are honest versions of old 'mama' recipes, but done with perfection and style. The best thing on the menu is Spaghetti Bottarga. Bottarga is a rare delicacy, the sun-cured roe sack of a tuna, and this simple dish which is a perfect celebration of an extraordinary taste is the best spaghetti you'll ever have.
