Question:

A few Airforce Reserves questions?

If I opt to do the Air force reserves, would I be able to support myself in a home while I attend college? I'm willing to work as many days a month as they will let me at my local air force base, I know traditional reserves do I guess 2 days a month, but I'd be willing to do 2-3 days a week if they have the work open. I also work part time at PetSmart but I make virtually nothing there. Barely pays for gas and food.

I have no prior military service, and would be just starting Basic Training if I apply.

  1. You can enlist as a photographer in many units around the country. Get some awesome training and field experience in photography along with your college degree in it.

The Air National Guard will pay you for drill weekends, give you the GI Bill for full-time students at $679/month, a $20,000 sign on bonus as well as other opportunities to make money while going to school. You will make about $850 a month just from the ANG doing one weekend a month as a full-time student.  You can work on base in the summers and during semester breaks and make great money and volunteer to travel as well.

email me through my profile on here for more info, I will hook you up,
