That's easy for you to say

Goes without saying

Then snap! It turns cold.

Funny and good. (Did you want real French in the first line of the first J'haiku? If so, it's "regrette" or better-- "Je ne regrette rien."). It is fine as you wrote it. Sorry for the lesson.
