  1. Hi, I personally think that FS 2004 is better than FSX anyway, so go ahead and buy 2004... you won't regret it.

FS 2004 should run ALOT better on a XP Pro than FSX due to the reduced graphics reqirements. I have a fairly sub-standard computer (512 MB RAM, Integrated graphics card) and I can get FS 2004 to run perfectly, no lag, nothing (I have to set the graphics in the game to medium or below though, it still looks good however).

The game is called FS 2004, A century of flight. So they have included mainly historic planes (record setters, or other planes with great significance).

    1903 Wright flyer

    Ryan NYP

    Beechcraft Baron 58

    Vickers Vimy

    Douglas DC-3

    Piper Cub

    Boeing 747-400

    Learjet 45

    Ford Tri- Motor

    Cessna Grand Caravan

    Robinson R22 Beta (helicopter)

And some others, so you may have noticed that as well as historical planes, some new ones have been included too.

But the great thing about FS 2004 is the huge availiability of add-on aircraft. There are vast amounts of free aircraft that you can download on dedicated FS websites and also some of the best virtual planes ever created. the PMDG 747-400 is in my view the best aircraft made for any FS product.

So those are my thoughts on FS 2004, you can email me if you have any further questions.
