A few car questions...?

Ok, just a few questions i need answering, hope you can help :)

1/ How can you tell that you ned a new clutch?, i heard that if you put it in 4th and take ur foot off the pedal, if it "kangaroos" you need a new clutch, is that true? cos i did it and it kangarooed (almost like it struggled to stall). Is there any other way i can test if i need a new clutch. At low rpm the clutch feels stiff, but after 3k it feels slack (as it will just hit the floor without any resistance), is this another sign?

2/ Is it easy to fit speakers in your car? and also is it easy to fit an induction kit? Im thinking about buying both but dont want to pay for a garage to do it and wondered if it was easy enough to do yourself.

Thanks for the help

  1. 1. When driving down the road in 4th of 5th gear, floor the gas pedal. If the engine revs up and you don't go any faster, you need a clutch.

    2. Speakers and air induction systems do take some "know how" to be installed the correct way. You might want to leave it to the pros.

  2. Honestly, it sounds like you may need your clutch line bled... if it is going straight to the floor you could be having slave cylinder or master cylinder problems.... Usually when the car is popping out of gear or as previously mentioned Reving up with out you moving any faster that is a sign of severe slippage...

Secondly Get some instructions doing speaker stuff is usually something a lot of people can tackle but it depends on what type of set up your going to use...
