  1. 1. SG$19-$60

    2. SG$15(1 Pair) SG$40-60 (1 box)

    3. I-shine coz' it's comfortable

    4. Yes. As cos no matter what is your eye colour, when you wear on it, it will show(;

    5. Practise good hygiene. Wash hands when you want to use & take out contacts coz' you dunwan something inside your eyes that makes you feel uncomfortable & might get eyes infections.

    You'll need to buy solutions to kill germs in your contacts. I recommend you CIBA solutions.

    If you buy 1 pair of contacts, it last for 1 months.

    If you buy boxes;

    disposable- 1 time for each pair you used

    monthly- 1 pair can used up to 1 month

    Try to keep ur nails short & clean

  2. 1. fifteen to sixty bucks per box

    2. color contacts cost more then regulars usually in the 40-60 bucks range

    3. the regular are best to me cuz they let you see better and they are cheaper

    4. Yes the color contact covers the color of your original color so none can be seen unless you slide the contact over across your eye with your finger

    5. practice touching your eye bc it takes some getting used to

  3. 1. The prices can range dramatically. As the person said above, $15 - $60 per box (so if you have different prescriptions for your left and right eyes you have to buy 2 boxes at a time).

    2. $40-$60 / box

    3. Type? Do you mean regular vs coloured? I'd say regular because the coloured parts that sometimes invade your vision is a bit distracting! and sometimes the colours they use are just a little bit eerie and not very realistic...

    Soft vs Hard - soft all the way. My suggestion is to get  a soft lens that you can wear in overnight if you need to - but don't do that all the time as it can be bad for your eyes and the lenses. I've just changed to Acuve Oasys and I love them. (And i just got them online for $65 for 2 boxes! yay!)

    4. Yes, you can get lenses that will show as green. but be careful as they can be freakily green and look quite... scary. Your optometrist can suggest suitable ones. But the larger the change (i.e. dark --> light rather than light --> light) means the greater amount of colour that will be on the lens, and the more chance you will be able to see it in your vision. You might also get a "streaky" appearance depending on the lens.

    5. I'd recommend going to an optometrist for the first few consultations and they will recommend you the brand and type according to your eye type. Not only that, they will teach you how to put them in and how to care for them and your eyes.

    I'd say start with just normal contacts while you get used to the feeling in your eyes, because sometimes the coloured parts of the lenses get distracting in the corners of your vision - and its a lot to cope with all at once.

    Once your comfortable with the process and your prescription you can order them online for much cheaper.
