Question:

A few legal questions regarding the Caylee Anthony case?

Casey Anthony has shot down her own credibility with all the lies she's been caught in so far, plus lab tests have proven recently that there was in fact a decomposing body in the trunk. They obviously don't have enough solid evidence to convict her, but why can't the order her to take a lie detector test? Is it illegal to force anyone to take a polygraph test? Anyone know if she's at least been asked? (obviously she'd decline) Or have her parents or brother been asked? Also, even though she's been bailed out, is there any way she can get arrest on other charges before the case is solved (Obstruction and lying to authorities? or were those part of the old charges?) This whole case frustrates me to tears. :'(

  1. A polygraph is not admissible in court as evidence and cannot be forced on anyone.  If it can be proved that the fluids/stains found in her trunk are from her daughter, Casey can be tried for murder.  Obstruction and lying were the charges she was being held for.  There is no need to be frustrated.  It is not your child and you don't really even know these people.  If it bothers you, stop watching the case on T.V.

  2. she was rearrested last night and is back in jail..im not sure what happened here...the grandmother is now in her daughter's corner, even though early on she had said she believed her daughter did something to the granddaughter...its terrible...

  3. they cant compel anyone to take a polygraph test, because they are so inaccurate they arent even admissible in court as evidence..the evidence showed that there was some decomposing matter in the trunk, they cant determine if it was human or not, just something was decomposing there for a time (a dead person and a dead skunk or left behind steaks all leave the same gasses and acids) they didnt find human DNA or anything (or arent saying if they did) the case is completely circumstancial so far,and once they start treating you like a suspect, your arent obligated to cooperate with them,in fact any decent attorney will tell you (like hers did right off) not to answer questions or cooperate in anyway as soon as they give any sign your a suspect so she isnt obstructing.the law enforcement and prosecutor look very very bad in this case as things keep leaking  (like the "decomp evidence" in the trunk) which can only be intended ,or so it seems , as an attempt to convict her in the papers prior to any trial.

  4. Lie detector tests are unreliable which is why the courts do not recognize them...if you are facing a criminal charge you would be a fool to take one.it is up to.the state has to prove their case...(P.S.  I am sure she killed her baby and she should never see the light of day)
