now the new school year has started i dont like him anymore. everytime he sees me he gives me a hug. does he like me now??

Well not beacuse he hugs you he already likes you but there is a chance maybe he realize that he had a feeling for you. so just wait until he make some steps in expressing himself to you.

If you don't like him anymore then don't worry about him liking you or not liking you. Just be friends and leave it at that.

In my opinion, he just wants to make you like him again, especially you are a pretty girl ( are you?). May be he want to to be proud of having a pretty girl liking him? A new school year has started, you should concentrate on your study and find another one better than him ( and think   again why you don't like him anymore). I said sincerely, hope it helps!

Possibly? Or maybe he's doing it so that you know things haven't changed as in just because you liked him and he didn't like you doesn't mean your friendship has to be any different from how it was before.

you don't have to like him, but you can still be nice to him.  hugging is great if you can stand it.  if you don't like it, say so. be friendly, if the relationship is going to develop, it will naturally.
