  1. There are two easy solutions.  First is to simply pour out any excess liquid out of the jar.  The second is to put enough pads for your trip in a small zip top bag (snack size is best) and then put the bag in your carry on.

I fly all the time with pre moistened towelettes, and make up remover cloths and never had a problem.

Really, most TSA screeners aren't going to worry about the small amount of liquid that the pads are sitting in.  I went through security twice and forgot to take out my 1 qt bag of liquids both times and the screeners didn't say anything to me.  It was an honest mistake on my part, I was dealing with my carry on and my service dog and I just forgot to remove the bag.

  2. Ditto about the 1st answer being wrong - it is 3oz and not 2.  The container size has to be 3oz or less though; so your container might be 4oz total, and that would be too big, even though there is likely much less than 3oz of liquid in there.  There will be a size listed on the container, and that's what you need to look at.

If it's too big, pack it in your checked baggage.  If it's 3oz or less, put it in your baggie.  You could also chance just packing it in your carry-on and playing dumb if they ask - you might get lucky.

  3. First, you are right, its 3 ounces, and anything under 3.4 ounces will be fine!

Another thing to keep in mind.  All liquids must be in a container that holds three ounces or less.  For example, if you have two ounces of shampoo in a 10 ounce container...you lose.

I doubt you will have a problem with these pads, but just to be safe, place them in your 1 quart plastic bag with your other liquids.

If they do not fit, then place them in your carry-on and see what happens.  Worst case is that they take them out and you have to buy new ones when you arrive at your destination.

While the TSA regs are somewhat clear, they are also open to interpretation at each airport and by each TSA agent, unfortunately.

  4. first of all, the first answer is wrong. It is 3 oz. not 2 oz.

I think you can bring the face wash pads. It takes a lot of liquid in the pads in order to have 3 oz.

I would just suggest putting that in your luggage. When you come out, just go to the nearest bathroom, take that out and wash your face or whatever it is you want to do

    enjoy and have fun!

  5. BTW, it's 2 oz, not 3.  There's a weight on the side of the pads, trust me.
