I have a few favorite names, and want to know what you think about them. Honesty is always appreciated.

Thanks!

girls:

Annie Nanette

Adee Nanette

Klaira/ Clara Nanette

Olivia Nanette

boys:

Rushton Frederick

Nanette will be the middle name of our daughter. It's my grandmothers name, and we choose to honor her that way. Same with Frederick.

Our last name is Armstrong. And our little boys name is Dean Matthew.

  1. I love Annie but not with the middle name Nanette - it's too many N's.

Clara Nanette is nice but spelt this way as it's more traditional.

    Olivia Nanette is sweet.

Adee Nanette is ridiculous as Adee is a boys name!

    Rushton Frederick isn't good either.

    Sorry! Just my opinion!

  2. I personally don't like Nanette, but since it's a family name it will go well with whatever first name you choose! I really like Clara & Olivia I think they're cute. Rushton is interesting, but not really in bad, I guess it's just not my personal taste.

  3. I like the first names...but definately do not like Nanette. But understand the honoring, so it gives special meaning. But maybe find another version of Nanette.

  4. olivia has to be my fav.

the boys is different. not sure how i feel about it

  5. I think if you use Annie, people will call her Annie Nannie...

I like Clara Nanette and Olivia Nanette (I have an Olivia of my own).

After reading the history behind Rushton, I like it a lot.  It's a great choice for your son!

  6. Personally, I don't care for any of them..but if you do ,that is what matters.

  7. annie, adee, and rushton i dont like too much. annie is too plain, adee is just odd and childish sounding, and rushton is just way too much of a name. i like dean matthew though. it fits well.

  8. Annie is my least favorite. I think is common and old-fashoned. Adee and Klaira are unnique. Personally, I prefer Olivia. It is pretty and elegant.

I like Rushton. It is unique and masculine.

  9. I like Adee, but spelled like Addy or Addie.

Olivia is really cute too, but Addie is my favorite.

I'm not a big fan of Rushton. What about Reagan, pronounced like the president?

  10. girls:

    Annie Nanette              Don't like

    Adee Nanette               Don't like

    Klaira/ Clara Nanette     Okay

Olivia Nanette               Love Olivia, not keen on Nanette

    boys:

Rushton Frederick           It is pretty cool!

  11. Annie Nanette it is ok

    Adee Nanette pretty

    Klaira/ Clara Nanette nice

    Olivia Nannette average

    Rushton Frederick cool

I like the name Dean Matthew just to let you know.

  12. Nanette is a sweet name, I would happily use it as a first name. What about Adie Nanette? 'Adee' looks a bit awkward as a spelling.

  13. Annie is nice but with Nanette there are alot of N's in there. Annie is usually a nickname and if you named her Ann... it would be Ann Nanette, which just sounds funny.

    Adee I don't like.

Claira.... and I don't like this name.

    Olivia is nice.

    Hate Rushton.

  14. Girls:

Annie Nanette- I like it, don't love or hate.

Adee Nanette- Hate it. Too old fashioned.

Klaira/Clara Nanette- Love Clara, hate the spelling of Klaira!

Olivia Nanette- Love it. Really cute!

    Boys:

Rushton Frederick- Don't like it. It's too "odd" for me.

    My favorite is Clara Nanette!*

  15. I think Clara Nanette is one of the best names I've seen on here.  I love it.

I'm not a fan of Rushton, sorry.  After reading your girl list, I think you can pick a much better boy's name.  How about Harris?  What about Frederick as a first name?

Good luck - you're doing great!

  16. I like adde best

  17. I love the name Clara Nanette Armstrong! For a boys name you could have Jacob Frederick Armstrong?

  18. Olivia Nanette is my favorite. It has a good rhythm to it.

Please, PLEASE don't go with 'Klaira'. Clara? Cute, though not quite as cute as Olivia. 'Klaira' is trying way too hard, and imagine your little girl having to spell her name constantly for the rest of her life.

Rushton sounds manufactured, like someone took common name elements and mushed them together. Frederick, however, is a good middle name, and your son's name is very cute.

  19. I don't care for any of them.

  20. I actually like all of your girl name picks!  I think they are beautiful:o)

I'm not a fan of Rushton.  It sounds too preppy or something.  How about Weston?  Bryson?

  21. I like Annie Nanette and Clara Nanette the best of your favorite girl's names. How about Frederick Rushton for a boy's name?

  22. Clara's the best of your choices.

How about "Byron" instead of Rushton?  Has the same masculinity, but not as strange.   Remember, the stranger the name, the more the child will be teased as a youngster.
