Question:

A few questions about Sushi Roku?

My friend and I are going out to Los Angeles this Sunday, and we're looking for a place to eat. A few people have suggested a place called Sushi Roku. I've heard of it before, but I had a few questions about it. How expensive is it for two people to eat there? How early do you have to make a reservation? What do you reccomend off the menu?

=] Also, if you have any other suggestions for a good resturant in LA, I'd like those too.

  1. Very expensive!... And good luck on a reservation, but definitely try to get one. Call now!

I haven't eaten there... I know more affordable places for sushi in L.A., particularly Beverly Hills. Sushi Roku is a see and be seen kind of place. I tend to try to stay away from those... my friend Kim lives for this place. She also carries a $500 purse for her everyday needs...  Katsuya is comparable to Sushi Roku, also good, also expensive... you might see celebrities. If that's your thing.

If you don't end up there... go to Crazy Fish in Beverly HIlls(Olympic/Doheny) for sushi. Their rolls are huge! And cheap... You can eat a pretty good spread for $20 a person. That's what I pay when I go with friends when we settle the bill. They have a wait list, no reservations. And it's small. I don't know if they're open on Sunday's though, we always go on Fridays during Lent.

    Bon Appetit!
