I'm planning to buy a motorcycle in a few years (Ninja 250R) , and I want some tips. (I'm 15 btw):

Whats is the best way to get your motorcycle license?

When should I start riding a motorcycle for my license?

When should I buy my motorcycle?

  1. Take a course from the Motorcycle Safety Foundation.  Go to:

    http://www.msf-usa.org/

They will provide a motorcycle, give you classroom instruction, and on-the-bike riding training.  At the end of many courses, you get your motorcycle license, without having to go to the DMV.

  2. You fill in a form and send money and recieve your provisional licence, age 16 (this is the only ways to do it)

then you go to motor schools and pass the tests.

you can ride it once you have your provisional but only in the presance o an instructer (until you get your full liecense)

you should buy when when you feel confident enough to use and maintain it

  3. Ride a dirtbike first and figure out what the h**l you're doing

  4. try to find a rider safety course.  they are good about teaching new riders the best ways of staying safe and and options of insurance.  however, riding regularly in an open area will make you more comfortable with the bike. learning the controls and turn signals will come as you ride more often.
