A few questions about the importance of access to freshwater?

Why is it so important for everybody to have access to freshwater?

What diseases and problems occur for people who do not have access to fresh water?

What countries have the least freshwater?

Why do some people not have any access to freshwater?

the simple answer is without fresh water you have no life humans cant live without water. not to mention things like showers toilets etc. plus growing crops.

1) survival - the body needs water to live

2 ) health deteriorates due unhygienic conditions , body depletes due to disease through not washing .

3) Any equatorial country and some tropical ones mainly Africa

4) Lack of infrastructure investment due mainly to corruption and poor economy also political instability ,in an  extreme  climate bringing drought .

Everybody needs fresh water to survive even plants and animals and without them we wouldn't survives it is a big circle.

If they have water but it is not fresh it can cause diseases such as Cholera that are waterborne.

Most African countries don't all completely have a supply of fresh water.

Some people don't have access to clean water because they cannot afford it or that there isn't a water source close enough to purify that water to make it clean and safe to drink and use. It could be down to the government not looking after it's people and not spending money on water supplies.

i do agree with rexcaliburn that water is life.we recquire it for most purposes from domestic use to industrial use.lack of access to fresh water can lead to spread of water borne diseases such as cholera and typhoid. example is some countries in africa where part of the poulation depends on water from rivers but which are now  poluted by indutrial waste and domestic waste hence they have no access  to frresh water.yes it is true that downstream the water has silt but there many ways of purifying that water than that with chemical polutants.
