A few questions about tropical storm fay?

ok, tomorrow(august 19th) ill be flying on southwest airlines at 9 35 am from Islip to Orlando and arrive at 12 10. so my questions are

will they cancel the flight? if not will there be a lot of turbulence on the ride ?

will the storm hit melbourne florida? if so what should i expect and how long will the storm last?

also, im going to fort lauderdale on saturday, will it still be crappy then too?

Hard to really answer your questions.  I would favor that Fay will not be large or strong enough to cancel your flight, but there is a chance of at least a delay.  There should not be much turbulence, though some bumpiness is possible once you get over Florida.  Melbourne will get some rain and gusty winds, but should be clear of Fay by Wednesday.  After that things get problematic.  Fay, or whatever is left of her, will likely remain in the area for much of the week as steering currents will break down.  Thus there is a chance for continued rather rainy conditions through the week there, depending on where the circulation of Fay goes, be it back over water, or dissipating over land.
