A few questions on abortion.?

Please don't tell me to not abort, seeing as both a) I'm not sure if I'm pregnant yet, and b) I know abortion is the path I'm directed towards, assuming I am pregnant. I just don't want to spark a whole debate her, I jsut want a few questions answered.

- What is the pill? Is it effective? How much would the pill cost, and where would I get it?

-In order to have an abortion, do your parents need to be notified, come with you, etc? How much would the actual "surgery" cost, and how would one go about scheduling one--and where?

It actually varies by what you are getting and who is doing it.

First find out you are pregnant and then call Planned Parenthood for an appointment.  Most states require that one or both parents give you permission for it.  You would get that from planned parenthood but take note that you can only do that up until 8-9 week of pregnancy.  You'll have to find out what your state laws are, and then you and your parents and planned parenthood can best figure out what your course of action will be.

"I stood at the doctor's side and watched him perform a partial-birth abortion on a woman who was six months pregnant. The baby's heartbeat was clearly visible on the ultrasound screen. The doctor delivered the baby's body and arms, everything but his little head. The baby's body was moving. His little fingers were clasping together. He was kicking his feet. The doctor took a pair of scissors and inserted them into the back of the baby's head, and the baby's arms jerked out in a flinch, a startle reaction, like a baby does when he thinks that he might fall. Then the doctor opened the scissors up. Then he stuck the high-powered suction tube into the hole and sucked the baby's brains out. Now the baby was completely limp. I never went back to the clinic.

BUT I am still haunted by the face of that little boy

It was the most perfect, angelic face I have ever seen

But what about if the baby had been aborted at a younger age.. say 6 weeks? When the baby is this young, doctors use the Saline Method, where they inject a salty saline solution into the mother's womb. You would think it would just poison the baby, but it actually burns it to death. Even though the baby is so young, on ultrasounds of the abortion, the fetus is seen pulling away from the poison as it is injected.. obviously wanting to stay alive.(The baby is intelligent enough to move away from the pain..but the child can't escape it)

Think about that before you say that unborn children can't feel pain

I am not judging you, therefore I will not give you my opinions of what I think you should about keeping or not keeping. However my best advice to you would be to go to your local health department. They are usually listed by county. There they have resources from everything to planned parenthood to abortion.

I am a mother of 20 somethings and they started having s*x around the age of 15. I spoke to them quite a bit before that day came about using protection and it  has worked for them. Condoms can be bought by anyone at any age and you don't have to see a doctor to use them. Please, I have had a friend die from AIDS and it was my main motivation for telling my children to use condoms every time. Please, if you decide to have s*x use a condom.

well how old are you? depending on your age you may have to tell your parents. and where do you live? i know there are clinics in Ohio and the procedure costs close to 400 dollars. just look it up on line and you will find the info that you need. i wish you the best of luck in your journey

In New Zealand its free, you go to the doctors tell them you want a termination and they sort out what to do and tell you were to go

Im not really for abortion but if you must get it get it as early as possible

IF YOu werent ready for a baby you shouldnt have had s*x! grow up you need to take responsibility for your actions....its not the babys FAULT you MESSED UP!
