A few questions on marine engineering

can anyone give me a quick briefing on marine engineering

e.g. like what it involves doing and if it is a good career path

and is it a good idea to be self employed or employed by a marina some where and is spain a good place to be a marine engineer

  1. The Army is a good entyr route into this trade, The royal Logistic corps have marine engineers on all their sea going craft.

    Alternatively you need to decide on what sort engineering you want to do, Out Board Motors (OBM) or Inboard motors.  the size of nships, yachts or boats you wanna work on is important too.

    Turner engineering in Scotland - (they are a facilities and marine engineering company who special in large marine engineering projects)

    are usually looking for apprentices.

    Also caterpillar in (known in UK as Finnings) at tamworth specailize in this too.  If you tap either of these names and Locations into your search engines they are easy to find.
