A few questions....?

I'm 15 at the moment, but I've always wanted a motorcycle. So I have a few questions...

What age do I have to be to be able to drive one?

Do I have to get a special lisence?

I'm more into sport motorcycles, any recommendations?

All in all, is it cheaper than my mode of transportation being a car?

Please excuse my spelling, spell check isn't working.

Thank You

  1. first take ur local msf course. i think u can drive a bike as soon as a car, idk ur area though. but yeah u need a class m liscence.it is cheaper cuz of the gas, but it is much more dangerouse. their are alot of idiots out their in cars. for sport bike i would suggest starting out on a ninja 250. plenty of power and perfect for squids, u dont need anything bigger than that. but be warned the insurance probably will sting.

  2. In most states, 15-18 yr olds are restricted to 250cc.

You can probably find the info you want here:

  3. First thing you should do is check with an insurance agent.

Insurance is VERY expensive for sport bikes and people in your age group.
