A few questions.?

1. Is a standing reach of 7'7 (for someone who is 5'11) good, bad, or average?

2. I just recieved a recruitment form from a local university(really local, like 30min away). thing is, I'm a junior. It has things like total years playing, act or sat score(which I havent taken yet) ,then it asks for school & club jersey numbers(i guess so they know who they're watching). My question is should i wait until my senior yr or right before to fill it out?because my experience level and maybe even my jersey numbers will change.

3. what type of offseason training regimes and workouts do consistent ncaa(div iii) final four/sweet sixteen teams do.Or should I email the coach and ask him what I should be doing during the next yr or two until I get to college. I've been going to camps there since I was in 7th grade, and going to volleyball and girls bball games(where ive see him) there quite often the past couple yrs. So you think hed be willing to answer questions?

thanks,srry it was long.

  1. There are a lot of strict rules as to what type of communication can occur between a college coach and a high school athlete. Those forms are usually just to see who is looking at them, so they can decide if they are interested also. Just fill it out as completely as you can. If they are interested in you, they will keep in contact with you and you will be able to  let them know if your jersey number changed.

As far as training goes, usually it's a lot of weight lifting, jump box work, and speed/agility training. They just want to see improvement from you consistently. It shows you know how to work and get better.

    Good luck!

  2. god i wish i could even play.. first good job/ luck, 1.that good

    2

i dont think u should wait.. jezzzzz

    3. do everything offseason to get better.. oh yea he would answer ?'s y not?

  3. NO FILL IT OUT NOW!!!!! trust me i just signed and it was almost to late...the earlier the better...that way they know who u r and that your interested.   it also gives u more time to decide.  and that was about my reach and i was player of the year for the state of Texas...thats fine as long as your work hard.  and about your number changing...they will stay in contact with u and they have your name and probably your coaches so don't worry.   sure e-mail the coach...that way he knows you willing to work hard and work out even when there's no season.

  4. 1)  7'7" sounds about average.  Or maybe just a little above.

    2)  Do not wait until your senior year.  Send in the forms now.  Also go to ncaastudent.org and read.  Also download

    http://www.ncaastudent.org/NCAA_Guide.pd...

And go to https://web1.ncaa.org/eligibilitycenter/... and start doing the things they say to do.  Even if you do not want to go D1, you will need to be doing things that all schools want you to do.

    3)  It is a great idea to keep going to camps.  And you should ask the coach at that school for a summer workout schedule.  And the camp director.

  5. it's your choice. as of course, me i would not take anything D.II or under. its my dream to play at texas and if i get a scholarship for any other school i'll just pass it up and go as a walk on at texas. I belive i can be in the big leages and i'm planing to go on texas in a couple of years, but whatever you want to do. my mom keeps telling me to accept any scholarship but i keep telling her im going to play at texas. whatever your dreams are, follow them because lifes to short and live it to the fullest. i hope this helps. lol.
