I can't work out the saying smooth as a babies bottom.  The ones I have seen are usually covered in c**p and what kind of maniac feels them anyaway.

why is it that people say many hands make light work, But then apparently Too many cooks spoil the broth?

Why if you have a good nights sleep people say "Ahh I slept like a baby", when in reality babies wake up evevy few hours?
