  1. I shall just answer the part on the rides, as I have been there before

Epcot isn't really a theme park for those record-breaking rollercoasters, it's more for the movie-styled themes and video editing, eg. Honey I shrunk the audience

  2. I just so happen to be planning my Disney vacation, and I found this awesome site:

    http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm

It lists all the restaurants, menus, prices, and reviews.

Unfortunately, I know nothing about rides or souvenEars, but that should help you with the food cost.

Hope you have a wonderful trip!

  3. Go to allears.net to see all menus and prices.

At Epcot you wan to go on

Test Track-use the single line to go through faster

Soarin'- too cool I loved it.

    Honey I Shrunk the Audience

The Worlds takes some time to go around. Lots of shops.

  4. first, for lunch you are looking at about 15-25 bucks... i know it sounds expensive but there are options at this park that are not available at other places... each country has its own restaurant/food options. within those there are great dessert options. i don't mean a chocolate chip cookie or the traditional ice cream bar (although you can find that too) but i am talking about Black Forest Cake (chocolate cake with cherries) or different pastries at the French Pavilion or even funnel cake. these treats are usually much better quality and/or much larger than your average dessert. if you want to try different things, get together with some friends and share.

Depending on what you want to buy it could be as little as under $10 (keychains, pens, maybe some note pads) to as much as $20-$40 for hats, shirts, etc. some items (except for the ones that actually have the park name) can be found at the World of Disney Store at downtown disney.

Except for the ride in Norway, there are no drop rides at Epcot. and even that ride has a small drop. Test Track is fun. so is Soaring. if you can go on it, its very cool. mission space is fun but if you get dizzy easily go on the green mission (i forget which color it is but they will let you know its the less intense version)

Each country has people that were actually brought in from those countries to work for several months to years. so they speak english but are well versed in the history and tradition of their native land. there are shops that try to reflect the good and products of that country (although they always manage to sneak in some disney stuff) as well as restaurants that showcase the cuisine of the country. sometimes the best deals are the items sold at the store that are NOT disney related. japan has a good selection of Hello Kitty merchandise. you can get a nice pair of chop sticks for somewhere around 5-10 dollars depending on how fancy they are. if you have any questions, just let me know. you can also check www.allearsnet.com for menus and prices. any menu older than three months might not be acurate. they change the menus around every 3-6 months to keep the guest happy with new options. have fun.
