A few things I did for my gp...

Question

My room gets a bit hot during the summer espically now but anyway i put my gp under where the air comes out is that ok?. And also I had a wheel in my cage and everybody was like no no no thats bad i didn't listen but i did take it out today and i have blocks for her to chew on a plain white piece of paper and a toliet paper cardboard roll in there was that ok??

I wouldn't put the guinea pig too near the airflow in case it catches a chill - I bought a desk fan/fan for my two and have it on rotate to stir up the air flow when its hot in here, but never have it constantly pointed at them.

The reason not to have a wheel for a guinea pig is that it can damage their spines as they aren't supposed to run in a curved stance.

Wooden blocks from the pet shop are great as they will help keep your guinea pigs teeth in good health - I wouldn't give mine the paper or the toilet paper roll as they could have been treated with something that could make your piggy sick - Most pet shop sell big cardboard tubes which are suitable for guinea pigs to chew on and hide in they only cost a few £/$. Most pet shops do sell a wide range of things for your piggy to play with and most of it is fairly low cost, but the most important thing you can do with your piggy is to spend time with them!

i wouldnt put the guinea pig near the air conditioner because if your guinea pig gets cold, theres nothing you can do. instead place ice cubes in the water bottle and all those chewy toys are fine

You shouldn't have guinea pigs near drafts. Mine are indirectly under a fan and they do fine, though. ABSOLUTELY NO WHEELS!! Those are bad for their fragile spines. You can't have those or the exercise balls. The toys you have provided are great and cheap! I do the same thing :) Good job!
