A field in medicine...or not?

i love biology but im not that great with chemistry and physics but I really want to be a doctor. [its definitely a profession im serious about] But at the same time I must stick with reality, do u think I should go on with my dream or choose something more realistic.

  1. Why is medicine not realistic?

    You don't need an advanced degree in either chemistry or physics to apply to medical school--just the pre-reqs, and all of them are very manageable as long as you're willing to put in a bit of time to study.

    You won't take either chem or physics once you're in med school, and although some of the concepts are important, you don't have to be a whiz at either of them.

    As long as you're willing to work--and if you're not willing to work, there's no point in applying to med school--just the fact that you don't love and adore chem and physics shouldn't hold you back.
