A ? for women/moms that have had their tubes tied...

My son was born 4/30/08 & I had my tubes tied - I had a period about 5 or 6 weeks after he was born but I haven't had another one I'm really bad at keeping track of my cycle so I don't know when it's due - I'm not complaining about not having it just wanted to know if it's normal to not have it after having a tubule?

I never had any problems with my period I had my tubes tied in Dec. of 2005 and my period has always been normal. I did however have all kinds of problems, anxiety, panic attacks, my period symptoms are way worse like times a 100. But nope my period has always been on time.

Same with me!! I'm still waiting for my second period and nothing!!!

I called the Drs office and they told me is pretty normal to have unusual periods for a while.

What I did notice is that I bled so much, I can't tell you how much! It came to the point it was disaster, couldn't leave the house, I hope the second period will be lighter.

After pregnancy your hormones are still out of sync. Wait and see what happens. Plus the tubal ligation is hard on your ovaries, I still have some disconfort after s*x. But all this is normal the doctor told me. good luck
