I'm very interested in doing a semester abroad. i'm 14, and a freshman. I was thinking about doing this for the spring semester of my sophomore year. I have searched and searched but I cant really find any price estimates on how much it would cost me. So I have a few questions..

1) Which program do you recomend and how much does it cost for a semester?

2) What is the cheapest program?

3) Do all programs give you a monthly allowance?

thanks.

oh and for the record, im think of going to Germany.

right in the heart of Europe! :]

  2. you have to shop the programs. thier rates change every semester. however very very very few offer scholarships. i went to japan on a full scholarship. www.yfu.org they have too many scholarships it is easy to get one. but programs can vary greatly in cost. dont worry about "extras" by your program. monthly allowance is easily set up by bank account with your parents.

  3. i am also thinking of studying abroad and i found this link for germany, it says the price for the spring of 2009 is $7200 it did'nt have anything for 2010..
