A free Internet Security?

Question

I just spend all my money to buy Windows Vista Ultimate and Microsoft Office 2007. I don't have any money left when I realized that I don't have any software for my Internet security!

So, can you suggest the best Internet security, a free one and works so d**n good that it beats off the commercial ones? Oh, and works as an antivirus as well. I don't want to get some p****y stuff, I still have my dignity!

Use the Avast as it's very good but stay away from Comodo since it's a system hog.  If you want a firewall, use PcTools free firewall.  It's very good and learns as you go along.  The next best if ZoneAlarm, also very good but it uses more system resources than PcTools.  Avast has caught/stopped viruses from Limewire that Norton misses, go figure.
