A freind of mine booked a holiday in italy but they hit a problem. She can't go because of this problem.?

My Friend is a legal Ethiopian immigrant and has an Ethiopian passport with a indefinite (permanent) UK residence. They booked a holiday in Italy but another Friend warned she needed a visa. But the italian embassy cannot be contacted. So my first question is does my Friend really need a visa. The second is, if so, how can she contact the italian embassy. Lastly, any other important details would also come in handy.

Yes, as an Ethiopian citizen your friend does need a visa, even if legally residing in the UK (both citizenship AND nation of residence matter)

I've never been to italy but shouldn't she just use a passport, italy is E.U. and i just need a passport to go to the continent, im not sure about the ethiopian bit though, sorry :(

i dont think u need a visa i went to america n didnt need one n if u do u can get one sent to u from london or somewere else
