two six year old girls, and a three year old. Do you have any suggestions of games we could play that would involve all four of the kids, or what to do if the age and gender differences become a problem? Thank you!

  1. You could play hide-n-go seek, or maybe you could play card games or you could even do fingerpaints with them. I am the mother of a six year old and a one year old. So I understand your dilemma. I normally try to find games that both my children can play. I am going to list their favorites below and I hope that they help you. Good Luck!

    1. Puzzles

    2. Playdo

    3. Leggos

    4. Finger painting

    5. Coloring books

    6. Make up a story(Story time)

    7.Store(cashier and customer)

    8. Tag

    9. Hide-n-go Seek

  2. Go to the source.  Ask him what he likes to play.  Ask him to show you what games he has.  When you play, you don't have to let him win but remember he is a kid.  So don't try to crush him.  Just relax and have fun--he'll show you how.

  3. Duck, Duck, Goose

    Maybe Red Rover, Red Rover,

  4. The board game Life. (first obstacle --> teaching them the game)

But I suggest something that will take up a lot of energy so they are easy to deal with. For example:

    1) Freeze tag.

    2) A relay race.

    3) A fun, well thought out Treasure Hunt through the yard and

    house.

    4) Boy vs Girl competitions (or mixed, depending on people)
