at a store my friend got ran over and the person that5 ran over her foot was parked at a no parkin zone at lowes grocery store is lowes responsible and negligent for not stopping people from parking in a no parking zone and for injuries

  1. No, Lowes is not responsible.

    Sue the person that was dumb enough to park in a "no parking" zone. Lowes didn't force them to park there and run over that girls foot! Lol


  2. No there is personal responsiblity of you friend to not walk so close to cars. She would have to have seen it, they are not small. The driver should have been paying attention, but they way people dart out in parking lots makes it hard too.

  3. no.. it was the driver.. and the drivers car.. this has nothing to do with lowes whatsoever...

  4. No they are not responsible for others driving and how could they prevent it, stores are busy with enough things as it is they are not responsible for pedestrians that come in misfortunate contact with bad drivers, tell her to find out who did it and sue their *** off.

    Or do what many do and deal with it, and move on!

  5. No, Lowes is NOT responsible.  The parking bit is irrelevant.  

    Th driver of the car, and the owner of the car that ran over her foot, are the ones who are liable.
