He's one of those guys who dated all the girls, but none of them were really "The one" and things ended before they turned TOO awful. His ex-girlfriends have been rather good sports about it, although a little emotional at times, they've all moved on with their lives. Now we find out that in the middle of the night he just up and left his place, leaving just a note saying he wants to start over someplace else, and not leaving any way to contact him. He's not a drinker so I doubt this was done in a drunken fit, and he's never shown any signs whatsoever of being suicidal. None of his friends knew he was doing this. He took his belongings with him.

So what do you do? Call the cops? He is a legal adult with only one living relative who also doesn't know where he is.

  1. hes a legal adult meaning the police cant do anything about it, he can do as he chooses as long as its not illegal. instead of being greedy and seeing it as you losing a friend, think of it as him wanting to just start over and have people in a new town who know nothing about his past.good luck

  2.     In most jurisdictions in North America, you have to be missing for at least 72 hours before you can file a missing person's report at your local police (sheriff's) station. If he left a note, and the note is indeed in his handwriting, then you just just accept that the guy doesn't want to be found. Was there perhaps one of the girlfriends  who missed a period??  If that's the problem, don't worry, the courts will find him in due time!
