A friend makes me feel insecure for no reason.?

ive been with the same group of buddies for years. but last year another girl sorta joined in. now this year i've started to feel insecure when she's hanging out with my friends and me. am i jelous that she's becoming closer to my friends than i am? or is it just because of hormones (we're at that "difficult" age of 12 & 13)? whats wrong with me, and how can i stop from feeling like this?)

Sometimes I feel like that around this one girl that is on my sports teams because she is so much better at them then me and she is an upperclassmen. So I just feel like she is better than me but I have gotten over that by telling myself she isn't. sometimes people put other people up on a pedastool when they don't really belong there.

Just start hanging out with this girl more if your friends like her she must be cool try to include her into your circle more. don't push her out because you feel like shes an outsider. I move a lot and people do that to me all the time take it from the girl on the other side it hurts.
